The 16-channelDigital Snake S16 stagebox with Behringer's AES50 is the perfect complement to the X32 digital mixing console, with 16 fully programmable and remotely controllable preamps and 8 XLR outputs. All channels are transmitted via just one AES50 Cat cable and are directly connected to the console without any detours.
Furthermore, two Digital Snakes can be cascaded without any problems. Thanks to freely assignable headphone outputs, an interface for the P-16 Personal MonitoringSystem, ADAT outputs for standalone operation and a MIDI I/O, the S16 is far more than a conventional stagebox. The intuitive and clear design makes Behringer's Digital Snake S16 ready for use quickly and without complications. Whether in the studio recording room or on stage, the S16 delivers optimum results with top sound quality at all times, all according to the motto: Plug & Play!

Been using Behringer equipment for quite a few years now and never any problems. This is the fourth S16 I have bought and like all the rest, works out of the box. This latest one is an extension to another and was very easy to setup, now giving me the full 32 in/16 out from my X32 desk
I’m using this with an X32-Mixer and it works well. Make sure you upgrade the X32 to the latest version or you will have AES50 sync problems. It looks like it has got good connectors so should last.
