Unleash The Mystical Power of The Phara-o Mini
With real hieroglyphics :)
From the western edge of the Nile Valley, not far from Giza, comes the most musical regent of his dynasty. The Phara-O Mini from Behringer is a very compact analog synthesizer that is a clone of the Korg Volca Key. The clearly laid out signal path consists of an oscillator, filter, envelope, LFO, VCA and a synchronizable delay effect. The synth can be played in 3-voice polyphony or in unison, but is also capable of octave and 5th mode as well as polyphonic and monophonic ring modulator sounds. Depending on the mode, the oscillators generate sawtooth or square waveforms. The Tuning of the oscillator can be set using the footswitch. This is followed by a 12dB Lowpass filter, which is based on the Korg miniKorg 700s from 1974 and has been supplemented with adjustable resonance. The end of the signal path is a digital Delay effect with a retro character that can be synchronized to the tempo if required. Modulation is provided by an ADS(R) envelope for pitch, VCF and VCA simultaneously and an LFO with three waveforms (sawtooth, triangle, square), which can be restarted for each note. The integrated step sequencer offers access to 10 patterns that can be programmed with different scales. Controller movements can also be recorded in the pattern. Notes can be entered quickly using the capacitive 27-key mini-keyboard or via MIDI. Power is supplied exclusively via the USB port, MIDI is also fed into the synthesizer via USB and the DIN socket. Thanks to extensive MIDI implementation, the instrument can be conveniently automated with a DAW or master sequencer. There are no memory locations for sounds.
