This is a compact mixer amplifier, which is perfect for small rent-out PAs to single musicians - small bands. Pros: easy to use stable loads of power. direct outputs for Active Speakers Cons: No Input Gain per channel (dim switch on Mic channels only) No Mute switch per channel No protection / transport cover Clip indicator could also show signal present
I'm a singer/guitarist working in duos and trios for over 20 years and I've been working with one of these for over 4 years and it's one of the best investments I've ever made! It's never let me down. I've used it with various types of speakers namely Fame MC12, Fame MC15 and Some EV's. It's equalizer is great for adapting to all types of speakers giving you the freedom to manually adjust the sound for optimal performance. It's excellent for small venues and I've even used it outside for cocktail/wine tasting receptions (I love my job!) and even then the sound is clear and powerful and The on board FX is fantastic. There are some things I wished it came with like a headphone output, a pan button on each channel, and maybe a little more power. Other than that this mixer serves me perfectly and I would highly recommend it. Well done Beheringer!
