Behringer Firepower FCA1616 16 x 16 Firewire/USB Interface
Not rugged enough for hardcore live use, fine for studio & home. Monitor/DAW balance knob is really handy, much nicer than having to fiddle with the M-Audio software mixer.
The master volume also turns down any headphones that are routed to outputs 1&2 this should have been independent of course. I have an external monitor switcher/mute/control so doesnt matter I dont use it, but something to keep in mind.
Compared to my old M-Audio Delta 44 the Behringer sounds less aggressive, more polished. The mic preamps are good and a lot of options High-Z, Low cut, Pad. The red green signal LEDs are much easier to use than meters! Turn it up and when they blink red back off a little bit. Done. Great price which we were used to but seems Behringer is also making better quality now.
