Overview
The Behringer C-3 is a dual-diaphragm condenser microphone with switchable polar patterns for studio and live applications. Here you can choose between omnidirectional, figure-of-eight and cardioid polar patterns.
Well made and well presented natural-sounding microphone with good flat frequency response. A cut above what you'd expect and this price point; the only downside is a little bit of background hiss at high gain. it isn't the most sensitive microphone I've ever encountered, but that said for close miking it is excellent, and I suspect it would handle the SPLs in live use. I've not tried the figure of eight pattern but the Omni and cardioid patterns work well.
