The Behringer ADI21 V-TONE ACOUSTIC produces natural warmth and presence as if you were running the signal through a tube preamp. This Behringer product has been designed to compete head to head with leading products on the market. There is an ultra-musical 3-band EQ with sweepable mids for accurate feedback control and eliminating the harsh harmonics of piezos. Super-high impedance lets you retain maximum signal integrity and dynamics. Use the ADI21 either for direct recording output with tube/microphone emulation or as a standard active direct injection box. The output is laid out on TS or balanced, gold-plated XLR connectors. A ground lift switch eliminates typical ground loop problems, and it runs on a 9 V battery or a DC power supply (not included).

Behringer ADI21 V-Tone Acoustic Modeler Pedal This product is great for the money! Well built (good quality plastic) and good sounding. Pots and jack are ok but sadly the switch is made of plastic. A heavy duty metal switch and a reverb would be a great addition in the future, even if theyll cost some more euros.

I definitely was able to improve the overall sound of my nylon string guitar plugged into an acoustic amplifier. With this I was able to dial in a more natural and richer tone.
It doesnt give you any more volume though, it mainly just shapes the sound and livens up and improves a dry and artificial electro-acoustic amplified sound.
I bought this pedal to try to lessen the ‘’quack” from my under-saddle piezo pickup. It works pretty well, and I’m working through the various settings to try and optimise the sound. There are a good range of controls, so you have a lot to experiment with. The build quality feels pretty good, ok it’s never going to be JHS, but the knobs feel solid and you’d have to try pretty hard to crack the casing. For the money, it’s an effective and useful pedal.
I have used three V-TONES for electric guitar and mandolin for several years, they make the instruments warm sounding with much control over the sound. A bargain at a very fair price and well-made. I do not hesitate to recommend this product. DV 247 Music Store communication and tracking was very good. I am a satisfied customer.
