The Behringer 369 is a compressor / limiter that is not only visually but also sonically based on the legendary Neve 33609. Like the original, the 369 has two channels, each with a limiter and compressor section. It is possible to operate the device in both stereo and dual-mono mode.
All compressor and limiter settings such as threshold, recovery, gain and ratio can be adjusted to the desired intensity using the corresponding detented potentiometers. Each of the four sections also has an additional attack switch, which can be used to switch the strength of the various settings between fast and slow. It is also possible to bypass each section of the 369 individually and to remove the entire unit from the signal path with a true-relay bypass, allowing A/B comparisonsto be made.
