On the occasion of its centennial publishing anniversary, Bärenreiter presents Schumann: Selected Piano Pieces, a collection by the influential Romantic composer. His entire oeuvre is characteristically poetic in style, making it absolutely emblematic of the era.
The edition contains eleven pieces of music from his phenomenal works "Waldszenen", "Kinderszenen" and "Klavierstücke für die Jugend", which are especially castor in classically oriented piano lessons. In the process, the compositions include Clara Schumann's original pedal indications as well as fingerings, which provide valuable support for learning.
