The BTB 6550JJ Red Label Sextet consists of six tuned 6550 tubes and is ideal for HiFi and single-ended Class A tube guitar and bass amplifiers. Based on the beam-power tetrode design, the Slovakian-made power amp tube offers more power than the related 6L6 with its maximum output of 35 watts, but slightly less than the KT88. However, it can score with a much warmer and fuller sound.
