The Avantone BV-1 MkII is a tube microphone with nine selectable polar patterns such as cardioid, omnidirectional and variable figure-of-eight. Through this range of polar patterns, the microphone is a good solution for all sources. Thanks to its tube circuitry, the large-diaphragm condenser microphone delivers a vintage sound that makes all input sources special. The BV-1 MkII features 10dB of pre-attenuation and a high-pass filter with a cutoff frequency of 80Hz to counteract proximity effect and crosstalk. The Avantone BV-1 MkII comes with a metal case, power supply + cable, shock mount to hang the microphone, XLR cable (7-pin) and a wooden box for storage.
