Needed some decent quality headphone for tracking to add to my mobile rig, these performed great. Not quite as good as their big brothers but perfect for the task at hand.
Some time ago, I bought a pair of Audio Technica ATH-M50X for relaxing and were blown away - I needed a second pair for travel and work and did not want to invest as much, so I opted for the Audio Technica ATH-M20X model. I am not disappointed - they represent a great quality-cost balance. Admittedly, they are not as good as the M50X - but the M20X hold there own. I have heard the M30X too, which really do sit in the middle of the two I own. So, no surprises, then - you get what you pay for - which is actually comforting to know. I would not hesitate to recommend Audio Technica's Headphones - and suggest you get them from Music Store - I'd give the store 10/10 for their Service & Products - I will be returning to the store again!
