The Art & Lutherie Americana represents the traditional dreadnought design as a versatile and proven classic among acoustic guitars. Solid cedar wood and a body made of Canadian wild cherry define the acoustic profile with warm basses, attack-rich mids and dynamic range for flatpickers. The semi-gloss patina finish, also newly applied, not only lets the Western show off its wood and grain, but also offers the feel and feel of thoroughly played-in instruments.
Warm Cedar Sound & Canadian Cherry
For appropriate sounds as well as strong basses and mids, the resonant body of Art & Lutheries Americana features a solid and pressure-tested cedar top, whose sound fully unfolds after a short playing-in period. Accordingly, the instrument produces warm, voluminous tones, while the back and sides use native woods in the form of Canadian wild cherry, which further supports the midrange warmth. Thanks to thin and open-pored Finish, the resonance of the body is not slowed down by heavy varnish and offers the greatest possible acoustic radiance in all registers.
