Apollo View Modular Allscillator at a glance
With the Allscillator, Apollo View Modular gets the maximum out of the IC 3340. The strikingly designed analogue tone generator is temperature-stabilized and covers a wide frequency range from 0.0011 Hz to 20 kHz. The module is therefore also recommended as an exemplary LFO, for which there is a switch on the front panel. The assertive sound is already familiar from classics such as SH-101 and Prophet 5, but here you get the full package of waveforms! With square-sine, sine, triangle, square with PWM, sharktooth, sawtooth and PWM saw, the Allscillator covers an enormous range. Most people are more familiar with sharktooth from the Minimoog, while PWM saw is a highlight in itself. The selection of waveforms is completed by the sub-oscillator, which oscillates one or two octaves below the frequency of the oscillator and is available in two variants at -2. In addition to the 1V/Oct input, the all oscillator can be modulated simultaneously with exponential and linear FM, which is particularly useful for more complex FM patches. The PWM input affects the pulse and PWMSaw outputs equally. Hardsync is available with positive and negative synchronization, while the softsync input is used for smoother results.
