Physical Modeling Synthesizer
With the Anyma Phi, Aodyo presents a monophonic desktop synthesizer that uses physical modeling synthesis. This synthesis is able to simulate the physical behavior of stringed instruments, but also wood, glass or metal. Besides variants of string and plucked instruments, percussive sounds and novel sounds are no problem for the PM sound generation. Two envelopes, two LFOs and other modulation sources can be connected to all sound-shaping parameters via the 24-entry modulation matrix to generate even more complex sounds. Five effect slots plus reverb are available to enhance the carefully created sounds. Anyma Phi can also be used as an effects unit for external audio signals, the stereo input then becomes part of the synthesis. The 63 memory locations can be managed and modified both on the device and via the software editor. The synthesizer connects to other equipment and the computer via MIDI inputs and outputs and USB. Thanks to USB host functionality, a USB master keyboard can be connected directly without any detour.
