Hybrid bass amplifier with 1000 watts power and tube preamplifier
The Ampeg SVT-7PRO is a modern hybrid bass amplifier with a class D output stage. It boasts an output power of up to 1000 watts at an easily transportable weight of just 7 kg. The 12AX7 tube preamp promises the coveted Ampeg sound with lively dynamics and particularly warm output. A 3-band EQ is provided for adjusting the sound, with a five-way switch for selecting the mid frequency for the middle control. Furthermore, the well-known Ultra-Hi and Ultra-Lo presets are included to emphasise the corresponding frequency ranges. In addition to the integrated compressor, which smoothes peaks and extends sustain if desired, the SVT-7PRO is equipped with a parallel FX loop for looping in additional effects. The balanced Tube Direct output, whose tap point is switchable before or after the EQ, can be used with a mixing console or audio interface to directly pick up the bass signal. Last but not least, practical Speakon-jack combination sockets for connecting bass speakers complete the Ampeg SVT-7PRO.

This amp blew my mind, i sold my EBS Fafner right on the spot, i wont ever need that again This amp just did it for me and meet all of my neds both in handeling, sound, power and features it have everythind a pro bas player needs I simply love it.
This piece of equipment essentially does everything. It plays all genres and works great with all types of basses. I use it plugged in straight to the sound card for recording and into a cab for rehearsals and it sound fat and full in both instances. The controls are really simple, with a built in compressor and very cool ultra hi and ultra lo features that can really fine tune your sound. Recommended for pro players and for amateurs looking for high end equipment for home recordings.
