With the Aguilar Storm King beautiful New Yorker specialists for dignified bass sounds a unique distortion and fuzz pedal for E-Bass into the race, with which the E-Bass can be distorted in many ways. While the Gain knob adjusts distortion within the fully analogue circuitry as usual, the Shape knob determines the basic sonic character, ranging from an organic tube-like saturation to the dirty sound of a shredded speaker. The handy Kick switch adds more punch and presence to the sound image if desired, and also lets juicy distorted bass sounds cut through the tape mix. Last but not least, the Aguilar Storm King pedal easily finds a place on the pedalboard due to the extremely compact but robust steel housing.
