The uT_U from After Later Audio is based on the Micro Temps Utile and generates various triggers, Gate and Clock signals. T & U is designed for six channels working in parallel and includes seven applications in the present version, which is more aimed at savvy users with a great need for different clock and trigger functions and little space in the Eurorack system. With two trigger inputs, four CV inputs and six outputs, the pleasantly easy-to-use uT_U has everything on board to do justice to its versatile tasks.
The Ornament & Crime applications at a glance:
Trigger Sequencer - programmable sequence with 16 steps (similar to TR-808) for triggering drums and envelopes
Clock division/multiplication - from an incoming Clock this function generates different divider and multiplier values (ideal for patches where different sync values are needed)
LFSR - Linear FeedbackShift registers
Random with Threshold - triggered respectively synchronized random with adjustable threshold value
Euclidian - The Euclidian algorithm creates triggers by taking the total number of active steps in a sequence and then distributing them over the entire pattern.
Logic (AND, OR, XOR, NAND, NOR, XNOR) - a collection of logical switching functions composed of at least two inputs
Burst - generates a sequence of triggers adjustable in speed and intensity
