The Acus One 10 Wood Acoustic Guitar Amplifier Combo from the One Forstrings series is the largest model in the range in terms of power and sound pressure. The suggested application for this model is for the solo performer or small ensemble as an all in one five channel solution for any acoustic instrument, keyboard or a stand-alone PA system.
The One 10 Wood features a 350-watt output through two eight inch speakers and a compression driver. The 2-way bass reflex cabinet is constructed from plywood and has been given a wood stain finish giving it a suitable ‘acoustic’ vibe. The 10 Wood also features five channels with Channels 1, 2, and 3 allowing you the option of Mic/Line input and Channel 5 designed for line input only.
A very interesting feature of this unit can be found in Channel 4, which is equipped with a three position switch that can be used to further enhance the tone of the instrument you are plugging into it. Position 1 would suit Viola, Violin or Cello, Position 2 is for Classical and Steel String Guitar and Position 3 is for Semi Acoustic or Jazz guitars. Each channel is equipped with a Peak LED, 4 band EQ, Effect volume and Channel volume. The system also has an Aux input with its own 2-band EQ, two outputs (Line/Stereo Out) and its own volume control.
Further features include a headphone socket (with a separate volume control), eight digital effects (adjustable in the master section) and a Resonance Filter, which helps reduce feedback. The One For Strings 10 boasts 350-watts of power and is a mere 14.5kg in weight, making it an exceptionally versatile and portable amp.
