Insensitive to feedback and distracting background noise
The AKG Perception live P 4 is an affordable dynamic microphone for miking drums, percussion, wind instruments and guitar amplifiers. It transmits even sound pressure up to 152 dB without distortion, making it particularly suitable for loud instruments. The frequency response of the AKG P4 is linear. Instruments are thus reproduced without distortion. To make the microphone insensitive to noise (e.g. from the guitar amplifier), a hum compensation coil is built in. It ensures a clean sound. Due to the cardioid polar pattern, the sound is picked up from the front. This makes the microphone insensitive to feedback and annoying background noise. For optimal alignment, there is a suitable holder for the AKG Perception live P 4 with an adjustable tilt angle. To screw the microphone onto a tripod, a tripod thread is integrated into the holder. A mounting bracket is included for secure attachment to the snare, tom and other drums. The housing of the microphone is made of metal and has a scratch-resistant paint finish. This makes it very resistant and robust.
