As a performance pad and keyboard controller, Akai Professional MPK 249 Black combines deep software integration, enhanced workflow, and the technology of the legendary MPC workstations into one device. Each model in the MPK series offers comprehensive capabilities for controlling virtual instruments, effects plug-ins and DAWs. 49 semi-weighted keys with aftertouch, 8 assignable knobs, faders and switches, 16 MPC-style pads with RGB feedback and integrated transport buttons are among the MPK249's outstanding features. Three banks expand the number of knobs, faders and switches up to 24 each, while the four pad banks increase the total number of pads to 64.
