The Mini PEG by 4ms is a creative combination of envelope and LFO that runs synchronized to Clock. There are nine waveforms in total, which are composed of various combinations of exponential, linear, logarithmic and interpolated curves. The length of a run is basically based on the incoming clock, and is set to a 32nd respectively 16 times the Clock with Div/Mult. This concept offers the unique advantage that modulations generatedwith the Mini PEG are always tempo-synchronous. Optionally to a patched Clock the tempo can be tapped in with the Ping button. The envelope respectively the LFO reset is triggered as usual via the Gate/Trigger socket; so note-based working is no problem.
The two main parameters Div/Mult and Shape are equipped with their own CV inputs, which significantly increases the dynamics and variations of the generated voltages. Users who like to experiment will appreciate the Trigger input for the Cycle function, which allows the envelope to turn into an LFO for half a beat and vice versa. The Scale parameter acts as an attenuator for the main output (Env Out), allowing you not only to attenuate but also to intervene the output voltage of max. 9.5V. Offset shifts the maximum voltage range around zero, this is very useful if you only need a certain part of a run. The 5V Env socket bypasses the Scale and Offset controls and provides scaled voltages in the range of 0-5 volts.
