2hp Freez Black

2hp Freez Black is an effects module for modular synthesizers in Eurorack format. The module is a voltage-controlled locked looper. It captures moments of audio data in buffers in which they can be hacked and fragmented beyond recognition. Once frozen, adjusting the size of the pitch and timbre to match the locked audio changes. Setting the sample rate control distorts and decimates the incoming sound and the time range of the currently locked buffer. From beat repetition to granular audio buffers, Freez creates new sounds and textures from any input signal.
