The Ibanez Andy Timmons Premium ATZ10P-STM Sunburst Matte is the signature guitar of the gifted session guitarist and solo artist from Evansville, Indiana. It convinces not only with excellent playing characteristics, but also with a wide-ranging sound that offers the right sound for almost any genre. Based on the popular AZ design, the all-round guitar comes with a strongly contoured alder body and a comfortably playable roasted maple neck. Electric tone conversion is handled by DiMarzio The Cruiser and AT-1 pickups, while a Wilkinson Vibrato and Gotoh tuners complete the ATZ10P-STM Sunburst matte Andy Timmons Signature guitar from Ibanez.

Signature guitar with comfortable handling

Andy Timmons chose the popular AZ design as the basis for his Signature guitar from the Ibanez Premium Series, whose optimized playing characteristics are tailored to versatile playing styles. While the ergonomically placed contours of the alder body guarantee a stable fit to the player, wide Cutaways and the flowing "All Access Neck Joint" allow unhindered access to the highest registers. Thanks to the narrow "ATZ" profile with 40.5 mm nut width and just 21 mm of wood under the first fret, the bolt-on Roasted Maple neck also promises agile handling.

Flexible sound thanks to DiMarzio pickups

For the electric tone conversion of the Premium ATZ10P guitar, Andy Timmons and Ibanez rely on three humbuckers from DiMarzio, which elicit a wide-ranging all-round sound spectrum from the guitar amplifier for almost any musical style. In the bridge position, the DiMarzio AT-1 full-size humbucker convinces with a hot tone in vintage style, which is designed for juicy rock sounds with a lot of warmth and the perfect portion of transparency, but thanks to coil split also knows how to please with excellent clean sounds. The slim DiMarzio The Cruiser Rail humbuckers in the neck and middle positions also promise brilliant tones reminiscent of classic single-coils with the familiar harmonic spectrum and hum-free performance even at high gain on the amp. The pickups of the ATZ10P are controlled classically by means of a 5-way switch, Master Volume and two tone controls

Hardware from Wilkinson and Gotoh

Last but not least, Ibanez completes the Premium ATZ10P-STM Sunburst matte Signature guitar with high-quality hardware that was perfectly tuned to Andy Timmons' demands. A Wilkinson WV6-SB vibrato is used as the bridge, and its special design provides buttery-smooth handling for smooth pitch variations. Vintage-style string tabs also guarantee precise adjustment of intonation and string action. Behind the Graph Tech saddle, the strings are also guided with a straight pull to the Gotoh MG-T Locking tuners, which ensure precise and robust tuning even with frequent reaches to the vibrato lever.
